For the Pasta Base:

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Meat Sauce:

  • 1 lb halal ground beef or turkey
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar halal marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Spaghetti

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti and toss to coat evenly in the creamy mixture.

Step 3: Make the Meat Sauce

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  • Add the onions and garlic and sauté until softened.
  • Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer for 5–7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Step 4: Assemble the Casserole

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread half of the meat sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  • Add the creamy spaghetti layer, spreading it evenly.
  • Pour the remaining meat sauce over the spaghetti.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese.

Step 5: Bake the Casserole

  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
