  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Pinch of red chili flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and let it heat until shimmering.
  2. Working in batches to avoid overcrowding, add the steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter

  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
  2. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, and chili flakes (if using). Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant and golden.
  3. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter to coat evenly.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

  1. Transfer the steak bites to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired.
