Scale
For the Bread Bites:
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
For the Cheese Topping:
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional Dipping Sauce:
- Marinara or ranch dressing for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about ½ inch thick. Cut the dough into 24 small, even squares.
2. Shape and Arrange the Bites
- Roll each square into a small ball or fold them loosely for a rustic look. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each piece.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir well to mix.
4. Brush the Dough
- Brush the garlic butter sauce generously over each dough piece. Reserve a small amount of the sauce for later.
5. Add the Cheese
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough balls, ensuring each piece is generously coated.
6. Bake to Perfection
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
7. Garnish and Serve
- Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
- Serve warm with marinara or ranch dressing for dipping.
