  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated

For the Stir-Fry:

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb ground beef (or thinly sliced beef)
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
  • 1 pack (8 oz) dried noodles (e.g., ramen or udon), cooked according to package instructions
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  • Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add onions and mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Combine Ingredients: Return the beef to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  • Add Noodles: Gently toss in the cooked noodles, ensuring they are thoroughly mixed with the beef and sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
